Explore the Youghall Beach Living Shoreline in Bathurst, New Brunswick—a multi-year, multi-partner project under Healthy Coasts NB. This mini documentary highlights the innovative efforts to restore and protect the shoreline while safeguarding a bank swallow colony at risk, making this project truly unique and vital for coastal and wildlife conservation.
The Seventh Generation Culture Camps, launched in August 2022, connects Indigenous youth from Elsipogtog, Indian Island, Bouctouche, and Fort Folly with their cultural heritage through land-based therapies. Inspired by a 2021 Elders’ gathering organized by the Oeliangitasoltogo Mental Wellness Team, the camp builds on the "Reclaiming Our Ancestral Footsteps" initiative, fostering self-sufficiency and cultural preservation for Mi’kmaq youth.
